I Was Excited… but Also Very Nervous

✨At the start of this internship, I was both excited and nervous.

📚I study Information Systems, but I don’t have any technical skills like programming or design. Most of the time at Uni, we only write reports and learn theory. And since everything is group work, people usually focus on what they’re already good at , I don’t get a chance to go deeper into one area by myself. On top of that, I work part-time to support my living and tuition 💸, so I don’t have much time outside of class to explore or practice more.

🤷🏻‍♀️To be honest, I didn’t even know which area of IT I like, or what I am good at. This question for me is unrealistic. I’m not a typical 20's student. I’ve already worked for 10 years across different countries and industries, and I think I understand how the real world works. That’s why I believe that as long as someone is willing to guide me, and the boss is open-minded and supportive, I’ll do my best to grow😎.
